Let’s talk about Photoshop. We are constantly surrounded by images of “perfect” people who look absolutely flawless in their images. What many people don’t realize is that this “perfect look” is a result of post-processing. Our job as photographers is to help you look your absolute best for your photo session. Selecting the right wardrobe for your figure shape and size, accessories to accentuate your best features, and of course setting you up with a fantastic hair and makeup artist. All of this helps to get you ready for your big camera debut. It continues even past when we finish up your photo session. When I get home, I upload… Keep Reading
Happy Wednesday everybody!! I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. I am so excited to show you my latest senior session. This girl was a lot of fun to photograph as she had so many different outfits to choose from. Of course I loved them all so we tried to capture as many of them as we could. For this session we went up North to the Hydrangea Cafe in Nago. It’s a beautiful flower garden with an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean. After several outfit changes, we hit up a nearby beach to round out the shoot before the sun went down. Towards the… Keep Reading
When Tyler first approached me about his senior session, he wanted to know if I would be willing to incorporate his love for comic books into his images. Umm….YES!!! I absolutely LOVE it when a senior brings items that mean so much to them! Your senior session is meant to be all about you. So bring whatever means the most to you to your photo session and have some fun with it. Tyler totally rocked out his entire session and I am loving the way that these images turned out. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite sessions to date! If you enjoy these images, please consider sharing this… Keep Reading
I am in love!! I got to shoot again with my wonderful Model Rep, Jaylyn. Per usual, she absolutely rocked our second session same as the first! I knew that this was a shoot that Jaylyn really wanted to get a chance to do. She had mentioned it during her questionnaire and interview to become a model rep for Dani Pfarr Photography. She mentioned that she had seen that some of my photos were taken in a beautiful purple flower field and that she would love to shoot in that location as well.
Hello everyone!! I know that I have been really quiet on here lately, but I’m hoping to change that. Quite a lot has happened since the last time I posted a session so I hope you’re all ready to be spammed just a bit by me playing catch-up. Today’s post is going to feature my absolutely lovely and amazing Model Rep for the Class of 2015.
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all are managing to have a good time despite the dreary Okinawa weather we have been experiencing. Summer will be here before you know it and we’ll soon be longing for these chillier days. I am anxious for summertime to be here; that is when the colors of the island truly come to life! Annnddd…I get to photograph a whole new group of Seniors this year! It’s always exciting to get a young woman in front of my camera and capture some beautiful images of her. Now that you’ve got your Senior pictures scheduled, you have to decide what to wear. So how do you do that? No one can tell you what to wear. There is no real right or wrong answer or a set of rules that will describe your outfits. But I can provide you with some suggestions and guidelines on what I LOVE to see in photos. I LOVE colors!! They’re so much fun and just really make a picture pop. So throw a splash of color into your “what to wear” pile of clothes. The brighter the better! Another thing I ALWAYS suggest is to bring a classic outfit. Something that… Keep Reading
